*NB! It is a very theoretical calculation, so it can only be used as an indication/guidance for consumption.
In this context, we estimate that the machine uses approximately 25kW when using the extruder (The engine output is 36 kW which is being exploited when applying spray plastic at 10 km/h).
This gives diesel oil consumption as follows: 25 kW à 270 g/kWh = 25 x270/0.86/1000 = 7,85 L/h. Approx. 8 L/h. The max. consumption of the burner is approx. 3,5 kg/h = 3,5/0,86 = 4 L/h.
At a mean ambient temperature, the burner will be working approx. half of the time = 2 L/h
- Consumption of burners for 2 units ID 600 = each approx. 3 L/h = 6 L/h
- Hydraulic pump station, PS-15 for 2 units ID-600 = approx. 3 L/h.
- Consumption: Engine, BM T 250-2 = 8 L/h
- Burner for thermoplastic tank = 2 L/h
Total for BM 250-2 10 L/h, 2 units ID600 = 2x3 L/h = 6 L/h, 1 unit PS-15 = 3 L/h
Total for preheaters 9 L/h.
NB! The capacity of the fuel tank of the BM 250-2 is 50 L, which corresponds to approx. 5 hours marking. The capacity of the tank of the PS-15 is 50 L, which corresponds to approx. 5,5 hours of operation.
