GETTING TO KNOW THE BORUM MASTER 5500 - A HIGH CAPACITY & POWERFUL LINE MARKING MACHINE DESIGNED TO WITHSTAND HOT WEATHER AND HILLY AREAS
The Borum Master 5500 is a high capacity line marking machine designed for large scale jobs such as marking highways, motorways or airport runways. The possibility of large material capacity means fewer stops during the day for refilling.
BM 5500 is also an excellent choice for road marking jobs in hilly areas. The 2-speed wheel motors allow a max driving angle of 30%. The Borum Master 5500 has been designed to be able to linemark even in challenging areas that require a robust design. The machine can work in hilly areas and withstands ambient temperatures up to 50 °C (122 °F) @3000 m above sea level.
This machine also has a two-seat slidable drive and operator section for flexible working on the left or right side.
Equipped with a new Deutz diesel engine, the BM 5500 meets the EU Stage IV final (Stage V ready) and US Tier 4 emissions standards.
EU Stage V (US Tier 4) engine with AdBlue Technology for a more eco-friendly line marking solution
The BM 5500 is equipped with a new Deutz diesel engine that meets the EU Stage IV final (Stage V ready) and US Tier 4 emissions standards. The machine is equipped with AdBlue technology, which consists of water and Urea (carbamide), that is injected into the exhaust gas to reduce the NOx emissions of the diesel engines. By having an EU Stage IV final (Stage V ready) and US Tier 4 approved machine, you help protect the environment by reducing highly harmful emissions.
The engine room of the BM 5500 has been designed to offer you easy access and servicing of the machine through large doors that give access to the engine room.
Vital hydraulic components, as the hydrostatic drive for both the compressor and wheel motors, are directly connected to the engine. Due to less belts being required, less maintenance is needed in this areas of the machine.
